Admission Procedure

Programs > Undergraduate > IBA

Step 1 - Online Application:

All candidates are required to fill an online application form through the IBA website.

Step 2 - Printing of application form and fee challan:

The completely filled online form needs to be printed along with the test fee challan.

Step 3 - Submission of fee at the designated bank branches:

The test fee needs to be deposited at designated branches of the Faysal Bank and Soneri Bank by presenting the fee challan printed earlier.

Step 4 - Obtaining Admit Card:

Applicants residing within Karachi can obtain their Admit Cards by visiting IBA City Campus with a copy of the paid Challan, a copy of duly signed-in Admission Form and two recent passport sized color photographs.

Applicants outside of Karachi can collect their Admit Cards from designated bank branches after payment of processing fees and submitting a copy of the signed Admission Form and two recent passport sized color photographs.


Step 5 - Aptitude Test:

Candidates who have appeared in SAT or GRE test, and have a minimum score of 1900 or 600 respectively, are exempted from appearing in the IBA aptitude test.

All other candidates are required to sit in the IBA test to be held on a specific date in the month of June, a few weeks after intermediate and A-Level examinations.

Students who clear the aptitude test or have the minimum required score in SAT or GRE, are invited to appear in the group discussion and interview, which is the the last stage in the addmission process.


Step 6 - Group Discussion and Interview:

Successfull candidates are finally tested for their academic aptitude, analytical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills, leadership potential, motivation and career focus, through interview and group discussion.

Candidates who are successfull at this stage are offered provisional admission to IBA, subject to the submission of all required documents and fulfilling other requiurements.


SAT/GMAT
Candidates who have a valid minimum SAT score of 1900 and a GMAT score of 600 are exempted from the IBA undergraduate and graduate admissions test respectively.
